On June 3, the RA National Assembly continued the work of the regular sittings. The parliament by voting passed the legislative initiatives debated in the previous sittings, afterwards continued the debate of the interrupted item, the RA draft law on Making Addendum to the RA Tax Code authored by the RA NA Bright Armenia Faction.

The deputies Janibek Hayrapetyan, Lusine Badalyan, Varazdat Karapetyan, Artyom Tsarukyan, Mikayel Melkumyan, Karine Poghosyan, Naira Zohrabyan and the NA Deputy Speaker Vahe Enfiajyan delivered speeches.

In his final speech the RA Deputy Minister of Finance Arman Poghosyan indicated the problems in case of passing the draft law.

The Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Babken Tunyan urged the deputies to vote for the draft law.

The RA NA Deputy Speaker Vahe Enfiajyan, the co-author of the draft law took the floor.

Afterwards the deputies in the first reading debated the draft law on Making Addenda to the RA Law on Insurance and Insurance Activity with the enclosed package presented by the RA CB Deputy Chairman Nerses Yeritsyan.

Yeghishe Soghomonyan presented the endorsement of the RA NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs.

Afterwards the RA draft law on the Support of the Persons Who Suffered during the Events Happened in the City of Yerevan on 1-2 March 2008 authored by Alen Simonyan and Lena Nazaryan. The latter informed that the MP Sisak Gabrielyan's proposals were passed, and the endorsement of the Committee was presented.

Afterwards the RA draft law on the Activity Guarantees of the RA National Assembly Deputy authored by Sergey Bagratyan in the first reading.

The NA deputies Artur Grigoryan, Sergey Atomyan, Nikolay Baghdasaryan, Mikayel Melkumyan,, Suren Grigoryan, Vladimir Vardanyan, Edmon Marukyan and Armen Abovyan expressed their viewpoints on the legislative recommendation .

In his final speech the key speaker Sergey Bagratyan touched upon the deputies' recommendations and speeches.

Afterwards the RA NA deputy Tigran Urikhanyan presented for debate in the first reading the draft law on Making Addendum to the RA Labor Code.

The Deputy Speaker of the NA Standing Committee on Health Care and Social Affairs Heriknaz Tigranyan informed that the Committee endorsed it.

The RA Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Arman Udumyan, the RA NA deputies Suren Grigoryan, Gevorg Petrosyan, Vagharshak Hakobyan, Lilit Stepanyan expressed their viewpoints on the initiative.

The RA Minister of Environment Erik Grigoryan presented for debate in the first reading the draft law on Making Addendum and Amendments to the RA Water Code authored by the government.

The member of the NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment Mary Galstyan presented the endorsement.

The deputy Ani Samsonyan presented for debate in the first reading the draft law on Amending the RA Law on Local Self-Government in the City of Yerevan authored by the RA NA Bright Armenia Faction.

The member of the NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment Vahe Ghalumyan presented the endorsement.

The RA Minister of Territorial Administration and Development Suren Papikyan presented the position of the RA Government.

The CB Chairman Artur Javadyan presented the annual report on the activity of the RA Central Bank and answered teh deputies' questions.
